About the Boys and Girls Club of the Northtowns

About Us

Great Futures Start Here

Boys & Girls Clubs of the Northtowns (BGCNT) has served youth in northern Erie and southern Niagara Counties through activity-based after-school programming since 1939. Like all Boys & Girls Clubs, BGCNT’s operating model is to establish Clubs within neighborhoods of high need so that youth and families are able to easily attend Club programs and events, and so that the Club becomes a friendly and trusted part of the community.

Over the past 20 years, BGCNT’s traditional after-school programming has adapted to meet community needs among youth from low-income families who lack access to programs that might help them succeed in school and in life. Today, BGCNT’s After-School Youth Enrichment Program offers a blend of evidence-based programming developed by Boys & Girls Clubs of America (BGCA), and research-based programs developed locally to meet the unique needs of youths served at each location.

In addition to comprehensive after school programming, BGCNT also operates two summer day camps for northtowns youth, running eight weeks during July and August each year. We also offer special weekend sports, fitness and enrichment events at Clubhouses during the school year.

Our Mission
